[He startles slightly when Dasik brings him the note. It's not from Affogato- he always uses his crow for such things. So who?

The scent tells him as soon as he smells it, and he drags the paper under his nose to bring it in deeper with a sigh. Reading it he smiles, heading down to his calligraphy desk to answer]

Chill morning brings morning dew, a brief moment before the new day
Kissing white petals, a lover there and gone like a thief
If only I too could touch them so sweetly

lily reads the note, and comes out of it eyes wide and a blush on her face- he wrote her a poem...? aaaaaaaaaaaaAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!! needless to say, there is a moment where she has to just- clutch it to her chest and fall onto the bed for a moment. a lot of moments. she's very emotional and this is going to be hidden and treasured alongside the notes from vanilla-

it's hard to come up with a response. not for any bad reason- she's just giddy. ... too giddy. responses will wait, she needs to give cacao kisses right now, where is he- )
