Hm~

[ He grabs one of the blankets on the couch and wraps it around himself, as if trying to keep the warm feeling inside.

He does his best not to sneeze on it. ]

Indeed~ Whatever becomes of this, you are my King and friend. I truly do not care about the tea, please come here?

[He peeks back through the door, a kettle in hand]

Are you sure? We have licorice root.

[ OOGH HE'S CUTE.

He hesitates and sighs, lips curling. ]

Oh fine, but only if you join me, my King~

[ The King is said with a very different tone than normal. ]

[winterfrosting]

[His slit eyes dilate that that]

It will not take long.

[Off he goes!]

[ Oh he sees that, and he hums a little noise that may be a purr, his tail lashing hard against the floor.

The purr turns into a choking cough and he curses something very vile, then flops himself sideways onto the couch. ]

This is your fault. [ Whiny. ] Making me stand in the cold, reading fortunes of woe. I will be very demanding.

Is that so? I would have thought you would like a chance to flex your skill.

Mm... it was nice to remind myself of my abilities.

[ Plip, plap, plip. Tail flicking back and forth like a cats. ]

And to re-impress you~ Did it work?

[winterfrosting]

I had no doubts in that regard. You did well.

[The stove can be heard heating the water, and Cacao shuffling around, his tail thumping against the floor]

[ His smirk is very cat got the cream. ]

Keep praising me, I do so love to hear it.

If I praise you too much you will become complacent.

[There's a hint of tease there]

Me?! My King, you wound me so.

[ He can tease back, his tail curling up over the couch. ]

Shall I praise you instead? [ Sultry, husky, and not just cause he's trying not to cough. ] Shall I tell my King of how my heart soared when you protected me? When I see you in battle, fierce and powerful?

It was not the first time you have seen me fight.

[But the first time with his new power. Cacao DOES sound a little pleased. His steps grow closer and, oop! There's the tea! Two cups, one thick with honey and both with the sharp slightly sweet bitter tang of licorice that soaked the very sea air of home]

Maybe not, yet it is always a treat to see my King in full glory.

[ And he perks to the tea, pushing himself up from his lounging so he can take the one thick with honey. He knows that's one for him, and he immediately sips it with delight.

It soothes his throat instantly and tugs away the need to cough, making him sigh - with a slight little deliberate moan. ]

Ah, you know me so well already~ Yet I cannot wait until you know me further.

[winterfrosting]

[ he blushes but doesn't fluster. Seems Vanilla has put in work getting Cacao used to his lusts

He reaches out, lightly tilting Affogato's chin]

Drink it all, then we can retire to the den. Unless you want A.B.A to walk in?

[ His chin being tilted makes him blink, then smile sweetly-

-then grimace like Cacao threw cold water on him to the mention of A.B.A. ]

Hmph! She would, just to be a pain in my side.

[ He reaches up with one hand to catch Cacao's, tilting to place a little kitten like lick on his finger, then let go so he can drink his tea. Slowly, so he doesn't scald his mouth, enjoying the thick honey and licorice.

But he will curl that long snake-like tail around to begin wrapping around Cacao, curling it in loops. ]

[His fingers are seasoned with stronger tea flavor from brewing the drink, and a glance of drying sticky honey.

It makes him smile, and he sits to drink as well. it IS one of his favorite blends, after all]

[ And as Cacao gets himself comfortable, Affogato instantly brings his legs up onto the couch to curl in against him, snuggling into his side like he's trying to stuff himself into his skin.

But he's being good otherwise and sipping his tea, humming gently as it works to sooth away some of the head pain.

His tail is being anything but good, sliding like a boa along his King. ]

[And as soon as he's settled, Cacao drapes an arm over, sipping his tea with his other hand. He doesn't acknowledge the tail exploring his torso, outside his brows raising slightly. Not stopping him, even smiling slightly into his cup]

[ Warm. Warm and smells of cacao, over the scent of licorice and honey. The non-reaction he gets from his tail makes him hum, obviously. Narrow his eyes thoughtfully, side eye a little. Is Cacao smiling?

Oh, he sees.

Very well~ If his King wants to play. He closes his eyes contently to simple snuggle in-

-as the tip of his tail begins to lightly explore, the main body of it coiled around Cacao in a firm hold. Just gliding along the muscles he feels under those clothes, the muscles in his tail squeezing and relaxing to help move along as the tip drags along. Hmmmmmm, there must be a little somewhere he can sneak in. ]

[ ever since he gained his own Blessings, Cacao has used his tail in many ways. Up to and including for pleasure. But having one coiled around HIM is new, and he finds it quite... pleasant? Not just in the fondling but in the wrapping pressure. He has no idea if this was always a thing for him, or if it came in the snake-like dragon package. His stomach and abs flex in turn with the tail.

Cacao, even in this horrific weather, dresses close to Ridge tradition. SO his clothing is easy to get into once where it folds together is found]

[ And once he does, he sneaks his tail in. Just the tip, tickling lightly against hard muscle and rugged skin.

Then with a soft chuckle flicks it teasingly across him in a quick slap, before carefully unwinding, eyes amused. ]

I am almost finished with my tea~

[Ah, a tease for a tease. His eyes glance over, narrowed in annoyance. More in balance he might be, but old tempers aren't completely lost]

So you are.

[he drinks his last bit in one long pull, putting the cup down on the table]

How are you feeling?

[ There it is.

Oh he loves Cacao's new resolution, of course. But that temper.... His alternate memories tells him what it would be like.

The question makes him hm as he finishes his own as well, the licorice thick on his tongue as he sets it aside. Then shifts himself away from Cacao to throw his knee over his lap, sit himself down properly in a straddle. ]

Why don't you see for yourself?

[ He leans forward to pretty their mouths together, coax Cacao's open so he can lick his tongue against his and share the last taste of licorice. ]

[And he chases it, seeming intent on testing Affogato's ability to breath very... thoroughly. With a barely restrained hunger, slotting their mouths together eagerly and not in a rush to break it]

[ Thanks to the tea he's breathing just fine so far, his noise as hungry as Cacao's restraint, as it gets devoured by the other. He pulls back only a bit, biting against Cacao's bottom lip hard. ]

There was somewhere else we could go? Because I will no longer be holding back. If we do not head someplace else, I fear everyone may be in for quite a show...
