Very well.

[Said softly, and he just allows Vanilla to lead him the rest of the way with minimal grumbling]

[ That makes him smile and he quietly leads the other back to their house. The scent of baked goods greets them as he opens the door to gently usher the other inside. They're promptly greeted by the lily stoat that came with the place, as it bounces around their feet before taking off again.

There he pauses, as he considers their options. He knows Dark Cacao would argue over taking the bed, but to get a true nights sleep, the couch doesn't seem fitting. ]

[he watches the stoat with open fascination- of course he's seen it before now, but he is just absolutely taken by the small moving creature THIS time]

[ The way Dark Cacao looks at the plantimal gives him an idea. With a gentle touch he ushers the other to sit on the couch, then disappears into a side room.

When he comes back, he gently places a strawberry bunny into Dark Cacaos hands. ]

Say hello!

[Oh, what's this? oh, oh it's very soft and smells sweet.

Oh, oh no he's just gonna... bury his face in it...]

[ Oh no. He thought that might happen, but the sight is even cuter than he could have imagined.

For Dark Cacao's troubles, he gets tiny bunny licks. Tiny mlems. ]

Are you all right, my friend?

[ Not laughing, not laughing. He did just basically hand Dark Cacao a Baby, after all. ]

S'little...

[he mumbles, not looking up]

Oh yes, it is still just a baby after all.

[ He thinks... he recalls Dark Cacao's talk with Joshua about babies from fruits. Perhaps plantimals are the same? ]

[He lifts his face finally, cradling the bunny against his chest, careful to not squish]

Where did it come from? The woods?

[Yeah he's thinking the same thing]

When I bought my pots and pans from Ydalir, there were a bunch of these little ones handling some of the transactions. I found this one inside my pot when I brought it home.

[ The strawbaby begins to clean it's paws and then it's face as it sits there just being snuggled. At peace. In it's lane. Thriving.

Pure Vanilla believes this is the second cutest thing he has ever seen from Dark Cacao in ever. ]

[Frown. Brow furrow]

...infants should not be working stalls.

... I am not entirely sure they are infants.

[ Yet his tone is thoughtful in that way that says he doesn't know enough about this particular subject. It most certainly looks like a baby, after all. Tiny. Not helpless, per say, but innocent. Even if it told him to shut the lid, it was sleeping. ]

Human reproduction is confusing.

[hrmpth. look it's covered in 'hair', it's clearly the same]

Truly. I do not understand how it is so divorced from oneself. Is there no love in the process?

[ Ugh this scene is far too cute. Just what was in that brownie. Eventually the Strawbaby decides it's nap time and simply turns into a small loaf and closes its eyes.

PV's heart is doing some silly things. ]

[He makes an agreeable noise- it is so weird!!! but making words is getting difficult for his slowed down brain. So he watches the creature loaf up... and carefully adjusts himself for comfort so not to jostle it and kinda starts dozing there]

[ Quietly Pure Vanilla moves to procure a soft thick blanket, carefully setting it beside the man. But before he just burritos him and leaves him to bake, he will.... try to figure out a way to get him undressed enough to be comfortable, without disturbing him.

What... hm. How... like this?

Armor confuses him, he's never had to wear it, and while he's de-armored his friends before, that was ICING. This is... there's hooks and straps and. He manages to get a gauntlet off and looks so proud his tail wiggles in excitement. ]

Hrmmm...

[ He carefully moves the bunny to the crook of the now unarmored arm and start fumbling with the other one half asleep. Auto pilot]

[ That makes him smile and between Dark Cacao's sleepy autopilot and his own attempts, he finally gets the heavy armor off and off to the side. Then he wraps Dark Cacao up into the blanket, tucking it around him securely until he's a toasty bean.

Then gives in to the urge to lay a little kiss on his forehead. Platonic and friendly (for now).]

Sleep, my friend.

Hmmm... good night, Pure Vanilla.

[He whispers, not arguing for once with being dotted on]
